Field Service / Installation Engineer – Electronic Equipment

Our client is a leading developer of employee management and security solutions. An opportunity has now arisen for a Field Service / Installation Engineer to join their team.
Covering Essex and the surrounding area (and other locations when required), in this role you will be responsible for installing and servicing the company’s time and attendance systems at client sites. As such, our client invites applications from candidates based anywhere within this area.
As a Field Service / Installation Engineer your duties will include:
- Installing the company’s equipment
- Configuring the systems and associated software, meeting client requirements
- Commissioning equipment
- Assisting and mentoring junior field service engineers
To be considered for this position you must:
- Have experience of servicing and installing electrical and electronic equipment
- Be 17th Edition and Part P qualified
- Have a clean driving licence
As a Field Service / Installation Engineer, you should also have good fault-finding skills, a motivated approach and a willingness to travel.
Any experience with access control and/or attendance would be beneficial to your application.
For the right applicant, occasional travel and some overnight stays may be required.
